We believe that God sets us on our journey in this life — a journey of discovering God in the love of family and friends, of experiencing his goodness in the wonders of creation, of making our way along God’s path of justice and peace.

As a Catholic community, we support one another along our common journey. Through prayer and the sacraments, through education programs for both children and adults, through a number of service ministries to our parish and the community at large, we help one another and pick one another up as we stumble and struggle along the way.

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is a process of learning about the Catholic Church, exploring its teachings and practices. Whether you have never been baptized, baptized in another church, or have been baptized in the Catholic Church but have not received any other sacraments, we invite you to come and see what the Church is about. There is no cost or obligation.

The RCIA program is designed to provide a safe and respected place for adults

  • who wish to explore the idea of becoming a Catholic,
  • who are preparing to receive the Eucharist and Confirmation, or
  • who seek to “renew” a broken or weakened relationship with the Church.

Come, journey as we study, pray and grow together in our search for God and the things of God. No matter where you are in your journey, you are welcomed at The Parish of the Resurrection.
