Matters of Faith: Take Some Time

LENT: Time for Prayer and Reflection.

We invite you to join our Resurrection family in participating in the liturgies, programs and practices listed below, rediscovering and celebrating our Catholic faith.

  • Daily Mass is Monday through Thursday at 8:00 a.m. and on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
  • Stations of the Cross are prayed in the church on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
  • Confessions are heard on Saturday from 2:30-3:30 p.m. and on Friday from 6:00-6:30 p.m.
  • The church is open Monday through Thursday until 4:00 p.m. (Friday until 7:00 p.m.) for prayer.
  • Copies of Not by Bread Alone, with prayers and reflections for each day of Lent, are available at the church entrances.
  • Lenten suppers of soup and bread will be served in the parish hall from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on these Wednesdays: March 19, 26, April 2 and 9.
  • CATHOLICISM: The New Evangelization sessions are scheduled for Mondays at 7:00 p.m. in the lower office hall.
  • The Catholic Book Club will next meet Wednesday, March 19, at 7:00 p.m. in the office conference room. To join the group, please call Susan Barr (881-8128).
  • The Men’s Gathering meets on Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. in the office hall for prayer and reflection. Questions: please contact Tony Vitale (882-1350).
  • The Rosary Prayer Group gathers in the church every Sunday evening at 6:30p.m. Questions: please contact Stan Boutin (882-0925).
  • Participants in the Prayer Shawl Ministry gather to knit or crochet shawls that are given to the sick, the lonely, the elderly or anyone in need of a prayerful hug. The group meets the first and third Thursdays at 6:30p.m. in the office conference room. Questions: please call Mary Thomas (465-3664).
  • The Knights of Columbus is an organization of Catholic men committed to serving the Church and the community. The Resurrection Knights meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the office hall. Questions: please contact Keith Harris (978-433-6319).
